Gary Shaw has had a lifelong love affair with science fiction and technology. He has lectured on Intellectual Property and Internet issues at I-CON for several years. In his alter ego, Gary is the Vice Dean and Professor of Law at Touro Law Center in Central Islip since 2000. He has served on the faculty there since 1983. Prior to becoming Vice Dean, he was the Director of Technology for the Law Center. Vice Dean Shaw teaches Computer Law, Intellectual Property, and Constitutional Law, among other courses. He is a frequent lecturer on issues regarding Internet Law and Intellectual Property, as well as Constitutional Law issues arising out of the Internet. Vice Dean Shaw has worked with the governments of Macedonia and Belarus in drafting those country’s constitutions.and has been very involved in working with other Eastern European countries on their constitutions.
