David Carlos
IT Technologist and Consultant

David Carlos is a life-long entrepreneur and technology expert with over 13 years of professional experience in IT management and support, new media and cutting-edge computer technology. His expertise and leadership skills have earned him a reputation as a top technology guru at multi-million dollar companies like Booze Allen & Hamilton, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte and Touche, Harvard Business School, Arthur D. Little, American Express and Carlson Marketing Group.

From a young age, David had a natural affinity for all things technical and scientific. Raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, which he still calls home, David attended the elite Horace Mann High School in The Bronx. There he won numerous science awards and earned the nickname "MacGyver," after the 80s action hero. David went on to study mechanical engineering and computer science at Cornell University, where he became known as the go-to-guy for all things relating to computers.

David plays just as hard as he works. A lover of extreme sports and the outdoors, he’s an avid extreme skier, mountain biker, and rock climber. He’s also a certified New York State Wildlife Rehabilitator. When he’s not on a mountain or near a computer, you can find David integrating Space Shuttle technology into his motorcycle.
