President/Chairman/Founder of The IT Security Suite Network

With over 18yrs invested in the information technology field spanning across vertical markets, technologies and industries, the knowledge, contacts and information gained was beneficial to founding and leading The IT Security Suite Network, TITSSN, in an effort towards creating higher levels of education, awareness, support, governance and guidance in the IT Security space. I have worked on the low end, high end and consulted with people and businesses across all vertical markets.

As an IT professional and executive working in the IT field, I have seen that we are going through drastic changes in the Information Technology field and where it is going. Over the past decade we have sat back and watched technology changes and the ways in which they affect everyone and everything in it. The Internet has revolutionized the ways in which we live, communicate and work and the time has come where it will integrate in our everyday lives in multiple ways.

For the past 12yrs I have worked the security threat landscape dealing with viruses, worms, hacking, zombies, rootkits, botnets, phishing, denial of service attacks, patching and other elements of attacks and threats. In 2004 I saw the urgent need for unification of the people and processes by which we secure and protect those that use the technology and those who develop them and so I started The Information Technology Security Suite Network, TITSSN, because of those changes and events that I saw coming to the IT field.

I have worked with the industry's finest vendors, professionals, executives and consumers which allows me to have a holistic approach to speaking of and about the resolutions and addressing of the IT Security Threat Landscape today. By unifying the people, process and things that are in the security space, we have a much better knowledge and understanding of what to protect, who are we protecting, from whom do we protect, when to protect it, why do we need to protect it and how do we protect it.

We are an IT Security organization that focuses on IT security in general, not on a specific vendor, OS, vertical markets and user base. We see IT security as affecting everyone and everything on the Information Technology Superhighway and for that reason we address the issues and concerns with all of them.

This is the underlying factor of TITSSN and our work here in providing the needed education, awareness, guidance and counsel for those in need of such information and services.

I can be reached at Brett.Scudder@titssn.net and is open to your comments and feedback on this initiative. Our websites are available with more information and articles as well.
