The Family Package

The family package comes in two forms:

• 2 Adult and 2 Student memberships
• 2 adult and 2 child memberships.

 

Each package includes t-shirts for every member. If needed, you can purchase up to 5 extra child and student memberships which will also include t-shirts. Please remember to fill out the form completely and include how many of each t-shirt size will be needed!

Gift Certificates

Want to buy a membership for your friend, but you don't know their address? Here is a perfect way to get them a membership to your favorite science fiction convention! Your friend can bring their Gift Certificate to the Box Office with a completed At-The-Door form, and instead of handing over cash, they simply present their Gift Certificate. It's that simple!

The Emerald Package

This is a special limited package offered for I-CON 29.
It includes:

• 1 Adult 3-Day Membership
• T-Shirt
• A Banquet Ticket
• 30 minute Pre-Access to Pre-Registration to pick up your Emerald Package.

 

Our banquet gives you the opportunity to have a delicious dinner with the stars.
Many of your favorite guests attend and are honored with awards at our annual banquet.

 

 

Important Membership Information

Before purchasing your membership, please read through the following important information on I-CON Memberships: You must purchase a membership to attend I-CON. Even if you just want to browse in the Dealers Room or play one roleplaying game, you must buy a membership first!

 

Acceptable Methods of Payment:

• Cash: Acceptable at-the-door and in specified stores selling I-CON Memberships
• Check: Acceptable only via mail submitted membership forms By Mail: Simply download This PDF, print it out, and mail it in, with your payment and a copy of your ID. You'll need acrobat reader, which you can get from http://get.adobe.com/reader/. You'll also need a printer.
• Credit Card: Acceptable via online purchase through our website and at the I-CON 29 box office

 

What's a Membership?

We don't sell tickets to our annual convention. Instead, you are purchasing a membership to the I-CON 29 event. Anyone can purchase a membership and all we require is your name, address, and payment.

 

Memberships Purchased at the Door:

The only discounts available at the door are for students or senior citizens (with ID).

 

I Pre-Registered - How do I get my membership?

Memberships are not mailed out. All memberships purchased in advance through our various Pre-Registration options must be picked up at the convention's Pre-Reg Membership area. ID will be required to pick up your badge.

 

Student Membership Discount:

Student memberships are available for any current junior high, high school, or college students. If you purchase your student membership through the mail, you must include a photocopy of your valid, current student ID. If your junior high or high school does not issue IDs, we will accept a letter of verification from your school's office on school stationery. Have your ID with you to purchase memberships at all locations, and when you pick up your badge at the convention. Teachers are charged the student rate, provided they have a relevant ID or a letter from their principal (or other applicable administrator). Seniors age 62 and over also qualify for this rate with valid ID.

 

Store Membership Sales:

We will also be selling memberships at some of your favorite hobby and comic book stores. This list of stores can be found at the bottom of this page.

 

Promotional Release:

By Purchasing a membership to I-CON, Members agree to have their likeness recorded for future promotion in audio/video, print, and web related materials and waive any claim to compensation for that use. Members should be aware that Photography and Video footage gathered by I-CON staff, designated third party representives such as costume portrait vendors, or certain memebers of Press, in public areas of the convention, including our Dealer's Room, events, and panels, may be used in video, and future I-CON promotions, and that Members may appear in these advertisments without compensation. I-CON will require a release only for Photos/Video footage that is obtained in areas that are not fully public (i.e. private functions and personal interviews).

 

Mail-in Memberships:

PLEASE type or print all information clearly! If we can't read your form, you will be delayed at the door. Include a check or money order made out to ICON Science Fiction, Inc. We cannot accept cash through the mail, and it is not possible for us to handle credit card orders through mail-ins. However, you can use a credit card through our website. We MUST HAVE a name for EACH membership ordered. There is a $30 charge for a returned check.

One Day Memberships:

ARE NOT AVAILABLE BY MAIL. However, you can purchase them from the vendors we'll be listing soon, at the door during the event, and online in the near future.

 

Confirmation Letters:

Will NOT be sent for advance purchases except by request. Your cancelled check or your Paypal confirmation is your receipt. If you want a confirmation letter, you must send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with your order form by March 1, 2010. NO confirmation letters will be sent for any orders received after March 1, 2010.
