Jeffrey Combs
Actor: DS9, Enterprise, Re-Animator


Jeffrey was born on September 9th, 1954 in Oxnard, California. He grew up in Lompoc, CA with a plethora of siblings both older and younger. He attended the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, and the Professional Actor’s Training Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. He spent about four years in regional theatre performing at the Old Globe Theatre in San

Diego, the Arizona Theatre Company in Tucson, the California Shakespearean Festival, the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa among others.

Jeffrey moved to Los Angeles in 1980 where he lives with his family. Jeffrey is best known for his characters Dr. Herbert West (Re-Animator and Bride of Re-Animator), as the cunning and enigmatic Vorta, Weyoun, and as the Ferengi Liquidator, Brunt, (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). Also with Stuart Gordon, the writer/director of Re-Animator he has strung an impressive list of other H.P. Lovecraft hits such as From Beyond, Castle Freak, Necronomicon, as well as other original screenplays by Gordon. He has also worked with Peter Jackson in the movie The Frighteners, and with Renée Zellweger in Love and a .45. Recently Jeffrey has added the new character Shran on Enterprise to his impressive list of Star Trek personalities, and in 2003 an addition to the Re-Animator series, Beyond Re-Animator. Some of his off screen credits include many voiceovers for both the Batman and Spiderman cartoon series and various video games such as Star Trek: Elite Force 2.

Most recently he’s become a recurring guest star on the USA hit series The 4400 as Kevin Burkoff playing an integral character to the series plot. Jeff also keeps himself very busy traveling across the globe to numerous conventions all year long, signing autographs and meeting his fans.
