William Freedman's first pro fiction sale, "Intentions," has been announced as the lead-off story of the upcoming Holy Horrors anthology. His novelette, "Forever and Ever, Amen," appeared in the LI SciFi critique group's Spirit House anthology to raise funds for survivors of the 2004 tsunami. Bill was submissions editor at the online 'zine Abyss & Apex 2005-2007. He completed a sci-fi novel -- actually a political satire dressed up as space opera -- titled Land That I Love and is seeking a publisher. His current horror novel-in-progress, The System, is a cabin-in-the-woods story that explains what's causing the current worldwide financial crisis -- and where all that money went. Bill's non-fiction specialty is business writing and his freelance clients include Investor's Business Daily, The Palm Beach Post, Global Finance magazine, The Economist Group and Euromoney Books. He held staff positions at The (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) Sun-Sentinel and Chemical Week magazine.
