Joanne Salvador

SCHERAZADE & SUZEE STUDIOS came into being not by plan or design, but through sheer necessity.

When Joanne Salvador, a Stony Brook Alumni who teaches and lectures on Ancient Egyptian Magic, coordinated The "Ancient Egyptian Evening" for The Stony Brook University Museum last year, she found herself without any help, resources, or financial support of any kind.

As the situation gradually became absolutely overwhelming for just one person to handle, her sister, Susan Finley, a very talented sculptor and multimedia artist, came to her assistance.

Working now as a team, against all odds and beyond belief, the two were able to pull off a highly successful museum exhibition, beautifully executed and arranged, right down to the finest detail .

They have been working together ever since, creating Ancient Egyptian images, designs, sculptures, and jewelry.

Their combined art work, "BLUE EGYPT" will be shown for the first time at I-CON this year.

All their time and effort in this endeavor can be summed up in an quote greatly favored by the Ancient Egyptians - '' THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING '' ...........
