I-CON's LARP Track has something for everyone this year! We have a great variety of genres to choose from that will allow you to immerse yourself in worlds of Heroism, Horror, Science-Fiction, & Fantasy. Whether it's your 1st LARP or your 100th LARP, here are some of the things you can do while letting go of reality and jumping into the imagined worlds we have to offer you:

About Middlehaven LARP: Middlehaven is a not for profit LARP group active right here on Long Island. Ostensibly it appears to be a typical fantasy based boffer-style LARP, but with a subtle and ingenious twist.
Emphasis is placed on good role-playing. Combat, while it exists, is not the focus of the LARP experience. Ages 18 and up.

THE CHRONICLES OF THE NEW FREEDOM ALLIANCE

March 26th: Episode 3 - “Leviathan Rising”
Thanks to the valiant efforts of the Freedom Alliance Bizarre team led by General Skullwing, the scattered tribes of the living Planet Leviathan are ready to sit down at the negotiation table and forge an alliance with the power to remove the tyrant Emperor Kaitos from power. Crucial to this alliance is finding the ancient King Jericho, rumored to be reborn as one of the very heroes attending the seminar.
Kaitos will not go down without a fight and his forces are mobilizing to take out the heroes before they can complete their plan to free the planet. There are rumors that the heroes may already be too late and the villains are ready to unleash their most powerful weapon, the great demonic destroyer OMNI!
March 28th: Episode 4 - “Liberty or Death”
If that wasn't enough for the heroes to deal with, some time travelers behaving badly have just managed to take out a common ancestor of more than two-thirds of the Freedom Alliance, nearly destroying reality in the process.
The remaining members of the team must travel back in time, find those responsible, and keep them from killing the legendary Liberty Sentinel, all the while not disrupting the timeline themselves. The villains of course will be doing everything in their power to keep from losing their prize, even at the cost of creation itself.
It's an uphill battle, but the heroes will have the help of allies both past and future in keeping this pillar of the past standing.

For over a century, Percival Warwick of the Ventrue clan has held the throne of Prince in the Court of the Hamptons. During his reign, he has used his authority to crush many of his rivals for power and wealth on the east coast, becoming an individual of daunting influence in the worlds of both mortals and kindred, and earning himself many enemies in the process. Though many have tried to take his crown, he has always stayed one move ahead... and many power-hungry kindred have met their end in the attempt.
Now, however, he may face a threat from within his empire; rumors that his own progeny mean to overthrow him have begun to circulate. In the wake of this scandal, the Prince has called an assembly of the court to ensure their confidence in his rule, seeming wholly unconcerned with any threat he may face in doing so. Does he truly face betrayal from his offspring, or is this merely a smokescreen for a more insidious opponent's attempt at Coup d'etat? Will whatever challenge he faces mean his fall, or will the court be a witness to another rival's bloody end? Is his cool confidence in the face of danger inspired by his own brilliance, or does something darker lie at the root of his unshakable sovereignty? No matter the outcome, the truth will come to light before the night is out.
In Excessum Vita: The Serpent's Tooth takes place in a world of intrigue and gothic horror drawn from White Wolf Studio's Vampire: The Masquerade. An existing understanding of this setting is helpful, but not required. The year is 500 R.T. (3061 AD) and humanity has long since fled a doomed Earth. A desperate exodus aboard a space station controlled by a mad Artificial Intelligence left humanity - along with the technologically enhanced "Celestials" and the alien Xel race - stranded in a cold and empty galaxy. Always resilient, humanity and its kin have survived, colonizing dozens of inhabitable planets, moons, and asteroids throughout several solar systems. All these worlds fall under the jurisdiction of the Confederated Colonial Republics, an interstellar government that ensures peace, order, unity, and security throughout the galaxy.
But mankind is a race prone to violence, just as it always has been, and turmoil and strife have once again engulfed galactic civilization. The Great Houses - monolithic corporate governments that rule over entire star systems - have recently declared war on one another, shattering the peace of the past twenty years. Worse still, the unrest brought about by war and tyranny has manifested itself in the form of several terrorist organizations, each of them with their own distinct visions of what the galaxy should be like, and all of them willing to use any means necessary to make those visions a reality.
In the midst of this turmoil, a self-aware and apparently godlike A.I. has made its presence known, calling itself The Demiurge. Though The Demiurge has yet to make its true intentions known, it has begun organizing a series of meetings and conferences, inviting some of the galaxy's most powerful and influential people. Tonight, one of these meetings (or "M0TEs") is being held, and you've been invited. For what purpose are these M0TEs being held, and why are you among the people The Demiurge has chosen to invite? What, if anything, do you have in common with the other guests? It's up to you to find out... if you can survive.
