Wargaming
This year I-Con War Gaming is bringing a full slate of programming all weekend long. In addition to our traditional Sunday Warhammer 40K tournament, we'll be holding a late night Apocalypse game on Saturday at the Con hotel. Additionally, we'll be running a Warmachine King of the Hill event all weekend long. Warhammer Fantasy fans should show up to our Saturday tournament. We're also holding events for Malifaux, Uncharted Seas, Mordheim, and Flames of War in addition to Open Gaming all weekend long. Check the Gaming Grid for specific starting times.
Tournament Point Costs:
- Warhammer 40K: 1750pts
- Warhammer Fantasy: 2250pts
- Warmachine King of the Hill: Standard 35 point battlegroups
- Flames of War: 1750pts
- Uncharted Seas: Starter box fleets
Board Gaming
I-CON Board Gaming has some big events this year! In addition to our annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker and Munchkinsanity Tournaments, there will be the return of "Who Wants a Million Bars of Gold Pressed Latinum?" where you get to answer science fiction/fantasy questions to qualify for prizes! Also for the first time this year, we'll be running tournaments for Puerto Rico (with 4 qualifiers) and 2009 Games Magazine game of the year Small World (2 qualifiers).
As always, don't worry if you don't know how to play any of the games, I-CON's game masters will be happy to teach you! This year we feature a fantastic mix of Euro strategy games, adventure games, card games and as always the I-CON gaming library where you can borrow some games for free play! We're in the SAC again so come play!
Collectible Card Games
Come on down with your decks and participate in I-CON's yearly events for MAGIC: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! With official judges and great prizes, our Collectible Card Gaming track is full of events the whole weekend you'll want to be a part of.
