Boogie Knights

Website: http://www.boogie-knights.org/

In the far away land of Baltimore, Maryland in the merry ol' year of 1982, a handful of brave knights stepped forward to sing filk songs parodied from commercial jingles, movie themes and the latest Top 40. Today, the singing group which was started by Theodoric of York (also known as David Keefer) continues to wow audiences and inspire groups of science fiction fans to shake their groove thang.

Many brave knights and beautiful lasses have come and left the group but the lineup now consists of Theodoric of York (Dave Keefer), Sir John of Denver (John Scheeler), Dionne of Warwicke (Sharon Palmer), Sarah of MacLaughlin (Heather Scheeler), Alice the Cooper's Daughter (Kate Greenberger), Lady Pinque (Linda Swann) and Krad the Obscure (Keith R. A. DeCandido). In their long history, they've put out a total of six albums and three songbooks.

They'll be playing at I-CON 27 throughout the weekend.
