A former “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” writing intern and author of Children of the Plague, a sequel to Hugo Gernsback’s Ralph 124 C41+. She has sold story concepts to “Star Trek: Voyager” and has published poems in American and Canadian literary journals. A PhD candidate in literature at Stony Brook University, Kat has a BA and MA from Boston University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Miami. She is a member of the Long Island Sci-Fi Writers’ Group and is currently working on a fantasy novel. This is her second appearance at I-CON, and she is delighted to be here!
