Timothy Herron

Timothy Herron, aka, Baron Timotheus, BBG, and his alter ego Baron von Wolfstein, actor and makeup artist.

TIMOTHY FRANCIS M. HERRON, B.G.G.

... Is the Gentleman, who breathes 'life' into THE BARON, as well as this myriad of assorted characters; developed, from his innate love and fascination, with Shape-Shifting, and, the Supernatural, from his very earliest years.

... Eagerly contributing his insights, garnered, from his early artistic expressions, of The Fantastic, into a useful societal function, Timothy began creating HAUNTED HOUSES, during his latter grade-school years, for yearly carnivals, at two different schools, in Cincinnati, Ohio (for three years, from 1960-1963).

... He yearned for the day, when, he could devise actual HOUSES, for such HAUNTING purposes, to make money, for charitable institutions, whose budget needs were, too oft, over-looked, by government funding agencies.

... For the remainder of the 1960's, he majored in Theatre, both, in High School and College.

... 'The Call' came, in 1970: To prepare an entire HAUNTED HOUSE, for the following year, with the Sycamore-Deer Park Jaycees, and, WSAI, the Originators, of the commercial Haunted Attraction, in Cincinnati.

... His work, on this project, with them, in 1971, proved to be the first, wildly successful, Haunted House, of its kind, boasting a final revenue, of $77,000.00, in only 9 days, at a dollar a person.

... This feat was all the more remarkable, in that, it was accomplished, on an extremely modest, shoe-string budget, of $2000.

... This staggering amount, of earnings, prompted the 'birth,' of several competing attractions, in the Cincinatti area, the following October, plus, Timothy's work generated a white-hot interest, nation-wide, for such annual, charitable, haunts. It would not be out of bounds, to dub him: 'The Father Of The HAUNTED HOUSE Industry.'

... Timothy became a TV HORROR HOST, in 1978, due to his advertising his AD 1977 HAUNTED HOUSE, with the Jaycees, of Bloomington, In. Timothy's WEREWOLF NOBLEMAN, BARON Von WOLFSTEIN, was 'birthed' amidst those advertisements, and, 7 months later was tapped by channel 4, WTTV, to helm an hour & 1/2 time-slot, of MONSTER MOVIES, olde & new. Unfortuitously, he was anchored across from SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, in the DAN ACKROYD-JIM BELUSHI days...

... "When GOD closes a door, HE opens a Window."

... Undaunted, by the demise of his TV show, 8 months later, Timothy continued on, doing Touring Theatre and teaching. Many other livelihoods came calling, during these intervening years, too numerous to mention. All the while, in the back of his mind, he knew, that, BARON Von WOLFSTEIN & FRIENDS, would re-emerge, when the climate was favourable.

... Which is NOW, in case you were wondering! For the past 4 years, Timothy has developed a firm standing in the HORROR-SCI-FI Convention Circuit, and, worked with several extant HORROR HOSTS, some olde, some, new.

... Timothy's gut-wrenching, verbatim, performance, of THE MONSTER'S final speeches, from MARY SHELLEY'S Classic Novel, 'FRANKENSTEIN,' has convinced numerous viewers, of the astounding brilliance, of the source material, and, of Timothy's invaluable worth, as an Actor.

... He has, recently, coupled that offering, with a like amount, of quality material, adapted from BRAM STOKER'S Novel, 'DRACULA,' culling several, of THE VAMPIRE COUNT'S speeches, issued, during Jonathan Harker's stay, at CASTLE DRACULA, and, melding them into a seamless whole, Timothy breathes 'life' into this Undead Monster, who tricks the unsuspecting Harker, into believing, that, he, DRACULA, is, still, Human... until, it is too late, and, the Vampire Menace is unleashed, upon London's society! ... As Van HELSING, later, grimly acknowledges: ... "The Vampire's greatest strength, is, that, people will not believe in him."
