Samantha McCalla writes stories for her sexy time-traveling alpha males from seventeenth century Scotland. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to an Irish father and a Guyanese mother. Her multicultural background was the catalyst to her interest in Irish mythology, which is the setting for her time travel series. She grew up reading Nancy Drew and later, tons of romances, all of which were borrowed from her public library at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. The only late return was a book by Jude Deveraux, which blazed the path for Sam's time travel passion.

Once the thesis for the MBA was done, the wedding, the births, and the horror of the mortgage closing over, she squeezed in her zeal for writing time travel romances.
