I-CON 26 Art Show 2007 FAQ
  • Is there an approval system for artists wanting to display their work?
Yes, You must submit 3-5 jpegs of your art to: artshow@iconsf.org. Your art must follow the art show rules. Once accepted into the show you will receive directions on what to do next.
  • How big are the panels, and what is the cost?
There are a limited number of 4x8 foot pegboard panels available at a cost of $20 or half sheets (4x4) for $10.
  • How many can I get?
You may request as many as you need (as long as it is fair). It is a first come first serve, and we reserve the right to limit the amount to be fair to all. Typically, an artist requests a couple of panels or a bay. Bays are reserved for our guest artists and 3-D artists. If we have extra then they are available to all.
  • What about tables?
Tables are for 3-D artists only and must be in a bay. They are very limited and can only be grated to 3-D artists. Tables are 6 feet long by 36 inches deep. The maximum amount of space for 3-D art is 1 table inside a bay.
  • Can I mail in my art?
No. however, you may have your own art rep or representative set up for you.
  • What about insurance?
We are not able to provide insurance coverage for your art, but your own property insurance should cover your art (please verify with your agent). Our staff provides TLC for the art when the show is open; we have hired security when the show is closed.
