- Please remove the watermarks either from the codec you used to make the video or any from your studio. In addition, please avoid the use of footage with TV station watermarks.
- No credits or bumpers advertising your studio, please. I-CON will display the title and authors
- All submissions must be labeled with the author's name, the

- I-CON assumes no responsibility for the inclusion of third-party materials within the submission. Legal responsibility for unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked materials within a submission is the sole responsibility of the author or authors of the submission.

- If a submission is chosen for presentation, the author, or one of the authors if there are more than one, must be in attendance at the I-CON 26 convention, or the submission will be excluded.
- I-CON reserves the right to exclude any submission from presentation, depending on content. We're trying to keep it to PG-13-level content at most. Any question of content that might be excluded, please email us at animelive@iconsf.org.
- As always, strive for originality and try not to reuse old ideas. In other words, the world has seen plenty Dragon Ball Z footage with the Offspring and AMV Hell has been done three or four times now. Give us your best! Believ... er... Datteba... umm... Go for it!

Romance - Love, lust, and everything in between
Drama - Emotional, but not so sappy. This is the serious stuff that doesn't involve too much face-punching.
Action - The fast lane. All of the high-octane fighting, contests, and anything exuding energy belongs in this category.
Comedy - Laughy no wai wai happiness.
