Bill Rogers

In 2001, Bill Rogers began his voice acting career supplying voices to a variety of characters in a little known video titled Assemble Insert.
In the years that followed, Bill has lent his vocal stylings to many other titles, including Boogiepop Phantom, KO Beast, Madara, His and Her Circumstances, Gokudo, Comic Party and To Heart.
Also included in his repertoire of notable characters is his work as Touma Seguchi in Gravitation, Tanaka Souichiro in Genshiken, and Kanata Mouken in Shingu.
2006 was an exciting year for Bill as his career moved in many directions. Almost 5 years to the day he started, Bill was asked to audition for what would be his most exciting career role. He was given the opportunity to bring a new voice to the character of Brock on TV's Pokemon. As well as landing the role of Brock, he now voices multiple human characters and creatures on the show.
2006 also gave him the opportunity to branch out into live action, voicing characters for the English language release of several Turkish television programs (including Fifth Dimension, Final Confrontation, and World of Mystery) which can be seen on satellite television. He also worked on his first video game project (Bullet Witch for the X-Box 360).
And while it's been over 5 years since Bill became a voice actor, it's also been over 15 years since Bill became a fanboy. His first convention was an I-Con, where he wandered around as a starry-eyed high school student with no idea that this brave new world would change his life forever (or at least his career). He's always glad to come "home" as often as he can. |
