I-CON ART SHOW RULES
- All Art Show participants must pay a fee for participation in the I-CON Art show. To participate in the I-CON Art show, the participant MUST have
a I-CON membership to the I-CON event itself. The I-CON Membership prices, required to attend I-CON, may be in addition to the Art Show fee. If the
artist is an invited guest to I-CON, the participant may only be required to pay the I-CON Art Show entrance fees, as outlined below. (Guests of Honor
have no fees, whatsoever.)
The Rate for the Art Show spaces are; $20 for a panel, and $10 for a half panel. The panel space is approx 32 Square feet of usable display space. A
large Bay is approximately two and a half times the usable space of a standard panel.
Additionally, I-CON will collect a 10% commission on all Original Art work that is sold.
Artists MUST conduct all sales through an I-CON representative, Artists found to be selling Artwork in an attempt to avoid these commissions or fees,
will be removed from the convention, and will be banned from future I-CONs.
- All art must be SIGNED IN and SIGNED OUT by an Art show representative, AND the Artist or Artist's designated representative at the start and
conclusion of the Art Show. An Artist's representative must provide I-CON with a letter signed by the Artist indicating that the bearer has the right
to display and sell the Artist's work, and is responsible for all handling of the Artist's artwork.
- Artists may also participate in the I-CON ART PRINT SHOP, as space permits, for a $10 Entry fee and/or 10% commission on Print Shop Sales, which
ever is greater. All PRINT SHOP SALES must be handled by an I-CON representative. All Prints must be signed in at the beginning of I-CON and signed out
at the end of I-CON by an Art Show representative. (Guests of Honor have no fees, whatsoever.)
- Artists must understand that they are simply renting space from the convention (at a variable rate based on sales), and that the Artists
themselves are responsible for the collection and payment of all state sales taxes as appropriate. Artists may contact their own accountants for
these regulations, as they desire.
I-CON assumes no fiscal responsibility or relationship with participants in the Art Show, Print Shop, Artist Alley, or any other sales point of
Original Art, Print Art, Photographic Art, Custom made Art, Autographs, or ANY other service or product or financial transaction conducted at
I-CON.
- I-CON makes every effort to provide good security for displayed Artwork. While I-CON makes every reasonable effort to protect and provide security
for all Artwork, I-CON's responsibility for Art is limited in the event of vandalism or accidental damage.
- Special Note about Content: I-CON is an all age family event. All artwork must conform to the standard I-CON rules (artwork shall be of a maturity
level which would be classified as PG-13). It is I-CON's sole discretion as to compliance with this rule. Non compliant art work may be removed from
the show upon discovery or complaint.
- Artists are limited to offering only work that they have legal rights to display, please do NOT display work you have no copyright permission to
offer, in either the PRINT SHOP or ART SHOW.
- Art may ONLY be handled by the Artist, the Artist's assigned representative, or in the case of an urgent need by the Art Show, by an I-CON Art

ALL ART MUST BE REMOVED BY THE ARTIST by 4pm SUNDAY.
I-CON IS NOT RESPONSIBLE, AT ALL, FOR ANY ART LEFT PAST 4PM SUNDAY. DO NOT BE LATE FOR PICKUP PLEASE.
- I-CON has the right to request the Artist display their artwork in a different fashion or style if I-CON determines it is unsafe or insecure in the
manner in which it is displayed, or if the manner of display is unattractive.
- Trash bins are available by the exits so please help keep I-CON clean. FOOD IS NOT PERMITTED.
- By participating in the I-CON Art Show, I authorize I-CON to take archival photographs. I-CON will not infringe on any copyrights of the artist.
I-CON will not participate in any unauthorized reproduction. An overview type of photo showing many works of art may be used on future websites for
