Long Island Advanced Rocketry Society (LIARS)Website: http://www.liars.org/ The Long Island Advanced Rocketry Society (LIARS) returns to I-CON 24 this year with a special guest from CSXT! The main focus of this Society is to unite enthusiasts of hobby rocketry, to organize members based on the group's need for a safe and legal launch site, and to promote awareness of hobby rocketry by means of social and intellectual interaction. Our last and most important objective, is to provide assistance to members, so that they may enjoy and advance in their pursuit of hobby rocketry. The LIARS demonstration rocket launch has been a favorite ICON activity in past years, and this year we hope for clear skies, low winds, and lots of applause from you as their hard work soars above the campus both Saturday and Sunday.
