Amateur Game Programming Showcase

Many classic games started out as bits and pieces made by hobbyist game programmers. The industry was started by amateurs, and we believe it still relies heavily on amateurs. The Amateur Game Programming Showcase is a place where aspiring game programmers can show their stuff to the masses, well at least the masses at I-CON.

We've heard the stories that amateur games can't compete with multi-million dollar corporate sponsored games. This is the furthest from the truth! Amateur games might not have the cinematics or ultra-detailed graphics engines that everyone seems to be looking for in games, but to make up for this they have superb game play and storyline and are highly creative in nature. Amateur games are likely to be more fun than commercial games. And what's the point of a game? To be fun!

So with that said, don't hesitate to submit your game to the showcase. You'd only be making fans and gathering respect from your fellow gamers and programmers.

Now for some legal stuff. Please read and agree to the rules before submitting anything. We look forward to your submissions.
